Pricing Rules

The right price every time — without manual calculation.

Three rule types drive pricing and order handling automatically: pricing rules adjust the sales price, shop rules drive cost-price per shop, and adjustment rules intervene in the order process with conditions and upsell.

  • Pricing rules: percent, fixed amount or fixed price
  • Shop rules: cost multiplier per shop and group
  • Adjustment rules: block, upsell or lock prices
  • Audit log of who created and edited each rule

The engine that makes pricing never manual

Whenever an order is created or a line is added, the system evaluates every active rule. Pricing rules adjust the sales price automatically based on customer group, product group and shop. Shop rules drive the cost-price multiplier per shop so margin is correct even when purchase prices differ. Adjustment rules can block specific products, add related products automatically or lock prices.

Rules combine in the right order — cost uplift, group discount, customer-group discount — so the final price is always correct. Inactive rules are skipped automatically.

Pricing rules

Adjust the sales price on products automatically when an order is created.

  • Target customer groups

Business, repeat, retail — each group can have its own rules.

  • Target product groups

Parts, oils, labour — separate rules per type.

  • Target shops

Specific shops or all shops at once.

  • Percentage adjustment

Discount or markup in percent — e.g. -10% or +15%.

  • Fixed-amount adjustment

Fixed change per line — e.g. +50 kr.

  • Fixed price

Override the price entirely with a fixed value.

  • Display name on the order line

Show the customer a friendly name for the rule — e.g. "Business discount".

  • Show or hide on the invoice

The rule can be visible or hidden on the invoice.

Shop rules (margin control)

Drive cost-price calculation per shop and product group.

  • Cost multiplier per shop

Set the multiplier in percent per product group per shop.

  • Margin control across shops

Perfect for locations with different purchase price or margin strategy.

  • Enable without deleting

Toggle rules on and off without losing the configuration.

Adjustment rules (order automation)

Adjustment rules intervene in the order process — not just price.

  • Block products

Prevent specific products from being added under given conditions.

  • Add related automatically

Add accessories or upsell products automatically when an item is picked.

  • Override the price

Set the price based on context — e.g. customer and product.

  • Price lock

Lock the price so later rules cannot change it.

  • Execution order

Lower number runs first — so rules execute in the right sequence.

Manage rules

  • Full overview

Every pricing, shop and adjustment rule in one list.

  • Enable/disable in one click

Automatic execution

  • Evaluation on order creation

Rules run automatically when an order is created or a line is added.

  • Correct order

Cost uplift → group discount → customer-group discount. The system handles it.

  • No manual calculation

The final price is always right without staff doing math.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between pricing rules and shop rules?+
Pricing rules adjust the sales price the customer sees — e.g. discount or markup based on customer group and product type. Shop rules drive the cost-price multiplier per shop and affect internal margin, not the customer's price.
What is an adjustment rule?+
A rule that intervenes in the order process beyond just pricing — e.g. blocks specific products, adds accessories automatically when an item is picked, or locks prices so later rules cannot change them.
Can I have different discounts for different customer groups?+
Yes. Every pricing rule is targeted at customer groups, product groups and shops. Business customers can get -10% on parts while retail customers pay full price.
What if multiple rules match the same product?+
Rules combine in the right order: cost uplift first, then group discount, then customer-group discount. Adjustment rules run in the order their number says (lower number first).
Can I see who has changed a rule?+
Yes. Every rule has audit info with created and last-edited — user, date and time. Important for accountability and debugging.
