Workshop Calendar
Your whole workshop's day in a single view.
Resource timeline, day-week-month, time clocks and absences — ZiiX's calendar brings bookings, deliveries and employee hours into one live view that updates in real time for everyone on the floor.
- Resource timeline with lifts, bays and mechanics as rows
- Events auto-created from sales orders, deliveries and rentals
- Real-time updates — no double bookings, no manual refresh
- Built-in shift plans and capacity overview per employee
Built for how a workshop actually runs
The ZiiX calendar isn't a generic scheduler. It knows the difference between a service job, a delivery, a rental and a sick day — and shows each with its own colour and icon. When an order gets a delivery date, the event appears in the calendar on its own, with order number, plate, make and model right inside the block.
Employees, lifts and bays show up as their own rows, so you can see in a glance who has capacity and who is overloaded. Everyone on the team sees the same data in the same second — without hitting F5.

Resource timeline
Every employee and resource shown as a row with time blocks, day by day — perfect for planning shifts and seeing floor capacity.
Resource time grid
Detailed hour-by-hour view with resources on the horizontal axis — best for busy days with many short jobs.
Day, week and month views
Classic views for both daily ops and longer-range planning around holidays, seasons and campaigns.
Default view per location
Each shop sets its preferred view, so employees always land where they expect.
Resources and departments
Model the workshop's physical floor in the calendar — not just the people.
Employee rows
Every mechanic gets their own row with time blocks, so it's obvious who is doing what — and when.
Lifts and bays as resources
Create "Lift A", "Lift B" or "Bay 1" as their own rows. Bookings attach to the physical space, not just to a person.
Rental cars in the calendar
Rental periods show up as resources with start, end and customer — so the same car never gets booked out twice.
Enable, disable and sort
Departments and resources can be switched on and off and ordered in whatever sequence makes sense for you.
Location-scoped or shared
Each resource can be locked to one shop or shared across all — e.g. a rental car in a common fleet.
Automatic from sales orders
The calendar and your sales orders are the same system — no double entry.
Delivery = calendar event
Set a delivery date on an order and the event appears in the calendar automatically.
Vehicle data inside the block
Order number, plate, make and model show right inside the event — so the mechanic knows what's coming.
Jump to the order with one click
Click an event to open the linked sales order in the same window.
Duration from billable hours
Event length is calculated from the billable hours on the order — no guesswork.
Create and edit fast
Right-click for a new event
Right-click on a time slot to create an event in seconds.
Simple modal for details
Edit start/end, resource and event type without leaving the calendar.
Context menu: copy, move, delete
Right-click an existing event and run the action you need — no dialog storms.
Move between days without opening the order
Drop an event onto a different day via the menu without opening the linked sales order.
Event types with their own colour and icon
The calendar separates different day types automatically, so structure is visible at a glance.
Service jobs and work orders
Linked directly to a sales order — the primary event type for a workshop.
Deliveries
Created automatically when a sales order gets a delivery date — so the customer gets the car when promised.
Rental periods
Start and return of a rental car — shows the whole rental window, not just pickup.
Clock in/out
Employee time clocks appear directly in the calendar, so timesheets match reality.
Holidays, sickness and absence
Clearly marked as non-billable — so the capacity view stays honest.
Working hours and capacity
Plan against what's actually possible — not wishful thinking.
Daily hours per employee
Each resource row shows the day's total hours and remaining capacity in its header.
Automatic time calculation
Hours are calculated from the employee's shift plan minus breaks — no spreadsheets.
Over- and under-load at a glance
See in seconds who is buried and who has room for extra work.
Multi-shop support
Automatic per-shop filtering
The calendar only shows the active shop's events and resources — no noise from other locations.
Shared resources across shops
Rental cars, external warehouses or specialists can be shared between shops without duplicate data.
Per-shop settings
Default view, overlap rules and delivery-list behaviour are set independently for each location.
